“Comrade Wolf knows who to eat, and he eats without listening to anyone.”– Vladimir Putin referring to Washington

Syrian President Bashar al Assad:
“…the United States doesn’t have the will to work against al-Nusra or  ISIS, because they believe that this is a card they can use for their own agenda. If they attack al-Nusra or ISIS, they will lose a very important card regarding the situation in Syria. So, I don’t believe the United States will be ready to join Russia in fighting terrorists in Syria.”

1--Meet Emmanuel Macron – The Consummate Banker Puppet, Bizarre Elitist Creation

Emmanuel Macron’s Rothschild Years Make Him an Easy Election Target. Based on the title, you’d think that the man merely had a normal, brief stint at the bank, but you’d be wrong. As you read, it becomes clear that he was groomed from day one by a Rothschild partner and ended up on a fast track like I’ve never seen before. But first, let’s examine the first two paragraphs of the article, which betrays the man’s intentions.
When Emmanuel Macron told friends in 2008 he was joining Rothschild, the prestigious investment bank, the then 30-year-old civil servant was warned it could scupper a future career in politics.

“You’re conscious that banking is not any kind of job? And Rothschild not any kind of bank?” said one friend to the man who, nine years later, would become frontrunner in France’s presidential election.

Macron is like a conspiracy website’s wet dream. Not only was he groomed by Rothschild bankers, he was also a Bilderberg meeting attendee in 2014. Of course...
The bottom line is Macron is a total fake. Indeed, he’s almost embarrassingly phony, but will it matter? My feeling is that he will probably win the May 7th runoff, but I don’t think the spread will be anywhere near as wide as everyone is predicting. I continue to think that it won’t be France, but more likely Italy, which will put the final nail in the EU coffin

2-- Brazil Paralyzed by Nationwide Strike, Driven by a Familiar Global Dynamic of Elite Corruption and Impunity

The proximate cause of the anger is a set of “reforms” that the Temer government is ushering in that will limit the rights of workers, raise their retirement age by several years, and cut various pension and social security benefits. These austerity measures are being imposed at a time of great suffering, with the unemployment rate rising dramatically and social improvements of the last decade, which raised millions of people out of poverty, unravelling. As the New York Times put it today: “The strike revealed deep fissures in Brazilian society over Mr. Temer’s government and its policies.”

3--Bush Already Tried Trump’s Proposed Corporate Tax Holiday and It Was a Total Failure

... judging from the last time it was tried, most of the cash Donald Trump would allow megacorporations to bring home from overseas at a bargain-basement tax rate would end up being used by corporate executives to inflate the prices of their stocks, thereby enriching themselves and their biggest investors — and doing little to employ Americans and grow the real economy. From 2004 to 2005, the Bush administration and Congress tried a one-time tax repatriation holiday, cutting the rate to 5.25 percent.

A Senate study in 2011 found that corporations brought $312 billion they had stashed overseas back to the United States, avoiding $3.3 billion in taxes as a result of the repatriation rate. But the top 15 companies that took advantage of the holiday actually reduced their total U.S. employment by 20,931 jobs.

Meanwhile, the report surveyed studies of all 840 corporations that took advantage of repatriation and concluded that there was “no evidence that repatriated funds increased overall U.S. employment.”
So what did the companies use the money for? The report found that two things increased dramatically after repatriation: executive compensation and stock buybacks.

4--Is Donald Trump About to Launch an Operation in Southern Syria

On April 8, a Free Syrian Army political officer reported that U.S. forces were reportedly mobilizing to the Jordanian border with a contingent of Jordanian soldiers.

On April 9, Al-Hayat, a regional news outlet, confirmed previous reports, via a political source in Amman, that a joint U.S.-British-Jordanian military contingent was waiting in northern Jordan for the green light to enter southern Syria. The aim of the offensive is to combat the Khalid Ibn al-Walid Brigade, an Islamic State affiliate operating in the Golan Heights.

On April 10, U.S. coalition forces and vetted Syrian opposition forces at the Tanf joint base, ten miles north of the Jordanian border, repelled an attack by ISIS militants, destroying numerous assault vehicles, a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device, and a number of fighters with coalition air support.

On April 11, Al-Jazeera Jordan reported that the United States and coalition forces are preparing to launch offensives from Jordan into southern Syria, more specifically, in the eastern Syrian desert and in Daraa, where the Syrian uprisings began in 2011.

On April 14, Sergey Lavrov, Russia’s foreign minister, announced that Moscow would continue monitoring this buildup of coalition forces and equipment on the southern border.

5--Trump threatens “major conflict” with North Korea

In reality, through a combination of aggressive military exercises and crippling economic sanctions, Washington is deliberately ratcheting up the pressure on the unstable North Korean regime.
According to reports, former US President Jimmy Carter has effectively been instructed by the White House and Pentagon not to try and open up channels of communication with North Korea, as he has in the past. The Financial Times reported today: “The plea to Mr Carter signalled concern that the former president could complicate US policy towards Pyongyang; he has forced previous
administrations to change tack, including in 1994 when Bill Clinton had been considering launching a military strike against North Korea.”

Contrary to corporate media claims that the threat of imminent war has receded, following this week’s unprecedented summoning of the Senate to the White House for a military-intelligence briefing on the Korean crisis, the risks created by the Trump administration’s provocative actions are mounting.

Numerous US warships, joined by South Korean and Japanese vessels, are carrying out large-scale exercises in waters near the Korean Peninsula. Recently released images showed US and South Korean forces conducting massive live-fire drills close to the demilitarised zone between the North and South. Targets painted on a hillside were obliterated with fighter jets, tanks and attack helicopters.

Officials in Washington and Seoul insist their war games are defensive in nature, but such exercises are now based on an aggressive operational plan, OPLAN 5015, agreed to between the US and South Korea in late 2015. OPLAN includes pre-emptive strikes on North Korea in the event of a war, as well as decapitation raids to assassinate its top leaders.

Pyongyang has denounced the current exercises as rehearsals for invasion...

For all Beijing’s efforts to appease Washington, the Pentagon this week installed a Terminal High-Altitude Area Defence (THAAD) anti-missile battery in South Korea, defying protests by both China and Russia.
Far from being a defensive weapon, the THAAD facility can conduct surveillance deep into China and Russia. Its purpose is to prevent any retaliation in the event of a US first-strike nuclear attack.
Facing intense public opposition in South Korea to the THAAD deployment, the US brought forward the installation to preempt the outcome of the May 9 presidential election to replace the impeached Park Geun-hye.
..
China’s Foreign Ministry expressed “grave concern.” It said the THAAD deployment broke the strategic balance in the region and ratcheted up the tension on the Korean Peninsula. China urged the US and South Korea to withdraw the equipment, and warned that China would take necessary actions “to safeguard its own interests.”

6--Assad: The deep state owns Trump

BA: The American President has no policies. There are policies drawn by the American institutions which control the American regime which are the intelligence agencies, the Pentagon, the big arms and oil companies, and financial institutions, in addition to some other lobbies which influence American decision-making. The American President merely implements these policies, and the evidence is that when Trump tried to move on a different track, during and after his election campaign, he couldn’t. He came under a ferocious attack. As we have seen in the past few week, he changed his rhetoric completely and subjected himself to the terms of the deep American state, or the deep American regime. That’s why it is unrealistic and a complete waste of time to make an assessment of the American President’s foreign policy, for he might say something; but he ultimately does what these institutions dictate to him. This is not new. This has been ongoing American policy for decades.

7--Decline in consumption leads to slowest US economy growth in 3 years

The US economy showed its weakest performance since 2014 in the first three months of the year after consumer spending sharply slowed and businesses invested less in inventories.
The country’s GDP increased at a mere 0.7 percent annual rate, down from 2.1 percent and 3.5 percent in the second half of 2016. Analysts surveyed by Reuters expected growth of 1.2 percent last quarter.

A new Washington Post-ABC News poll shows that 48% of Americans believe in the concept of a deep state — i.e. “military, intelligence and government officials who try to secretly manipulate government policy” — and 35% dismiss it as a conspiracy theory.
The belief is very bipartisan. While 45% of Republicans believe it exists — perhaps believing it is undermining Trump even as we speak — 46% of Democrats also believe it exists — perhaps hoping it is undermining Trump even as we speak.

15--North Korea remembers Gadhafi

North Korea will never surrender its nuclear weapons capability...., we should remember the immense, expensive effort (Muammar Gaddafi) made to satisfy US demands...Gaddafi revealed and decommissioned his nuclear and chemical WMD programs under international inspection, acceded to the Chemical Weapons Convention, re-opened Libya’s oil industry to foreign investment, and ponied up over US$1 billion in compensation for the Lockerbie bombing...  In return, Libya got normalized relations, a U.S. shield from terrorism lawsuits, (and) visits from Condoleezza Rice and Tony Blair....  The “Libya model” was actually touted as a precedent for bringing North Korea in from the cold.
Those expectations took a knock, understandably, when the US took advantage of the defenselessness of Qaddafi’s regime to overthrow it and murder him.

16-- G Sax alum Dina Powell, President Trump’s senior counselor for economic initiatives, has been named as a deputy national security adviser for strategy

Dina Powell, President Trump’s senior counselor for economic initiatives, has been named as a deputy national security adviser for strategy, Trump administration officials said Wednesday.
The selection of Ms. Powell is the most prominent appointment on the National Security Council staff since Lt. Gen. H. R. McMaster was picked last month to serve as Mr. Trump’s national security adviser.

Ms. Powell was asked to take the job by General McMaster, who wants to put a greater emphasis at the council on developing and implementing strategy. Although she does not have extensive experience on national security issues, Ms. Powell has spent 15 years in government, has worked in the private sector and has a broad network of contacts.

Ms. Powell also works closely with Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law, and will be his closest liaison with the council.
Ms. Powell was recently the president of the Goldman Sachs Foundation. During her years at Goldman Sachs, she worked with Gary Cohn, Mr. Trump’s senior economic policy adviser, and she is expected to continue her role working on the administration’s economic initiatives.

General McMaster has also asked Nadia Schadlow to join his staff as a deputy assistant to the president for national security strategy. Ms. Schadlow served as a senior officer at the Smith Richardson Foundation and is the author of a recent book that examined 15 cases in which the United States Army intervened abroad, and the service’s role in political and economic reconstruction.
She will be tasked with drafting the United States national security strategy, a comprehensive statement of the administration’s foreign policy and defense goals, which is issued by the White House.

17--Why Washington is Terrified of Russia, China

Russia and China quietly advancing their agreement to progressively replace the US dollar's reserve status with a gold-backed system...
That also involves the key participation of Kazakhstan – very much interested in using gold as currency along OBOR. Kazakhstan could not be more strategically positioned; a key hub of OBOR; a key member of the Eurasia Economic Union (EEU); member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO); and not by accident the smelter of most of Russia's gold.
In parallel, Russia and China are advancing their own payment systems. With the yuan now enjoying the status of a global currency, China has been swiftly promoting their payment system, CIPS, careful not to frontally antagonize the internationally accepted SWIFT, controlled by the US.

Russia, on the other hand, has stressed the creation of "an alternative," in the words of Russian Central Bank's Elvira Nabiullina, in the form of the Mir payment system — a Russian version of Visa/ MasterCard. What's implied is that were Washington feel inclined to somehow exclude Russia from SWIFT, even temporarily, at least 90 percent of ATMs in Russia would be able to operate on Mir.

China's UnionPay cards are already an established fixture all across Asia – enthusiastically adopted by HSBC, among others. Combine "alternative" payment systems with a developing gold-backed system – and "toxic" does not even begin to spell out the reaction of the US Federal Reserve.

And it's not just about Russia and China; it's about the BRICS.

What First Deputy Governor of Russia's Central Bank Sergey Shvetsov has outlined is just the beginning: "BRICS countries are large economies with large reserves of gold and an impressive volume of production and consumption of this precious metal. In China, the gold trade is conducted in Shanghai, in Russia it is in Moscow. Our idea is to create a link between the two cities in order to increase trade between the two markets."

Russia and China already have established systems to do global trade bypassing the US dollar. What Washington did to Iran — cutting their banks off SWIFT – is now unthinkable against Russia and China.
So we're already on our way, slowly but surely, towards a BRICS "gold marketplace." A "new financial architecture" is being built. That will imply the eventual inability of the US Fed to export inflation to other nations – especially those included in BRICS, EEU and SCO.

18--Troops massing on Jordanian border

The Syrian regime of President Bashar Al-Assad said that his country has information that Jordan is planning to send its troops into southern Syria in cooperation with the United States, Russian state-owned Sputnik reported on Friday.

“We have this information, not only from mass media, but from different sources,” Al-Assad told Sputnik, who interviewed him earlier this week. “You know that we have the same tribes and same families on both sides of the borders,” he told Sputnik’s reporter.

He also said that Amman “had been always part of the American plan” against Syria, claiming that Jordan is not an independent state, but instead carries out the plans imposed on it by the United States.

Mass media previously reported political sources in Amman speaking about Jordanian-American-British operations to be launched against terrorist organisations operating near the northern Jordanian borders with Syria.
The operation that Al-Assad expects comes after monitoring repeated movements of Daesh in areas about 20 kilometres from the Al-Raqban area on the Jordanian borders.
Political sources linked the visit of British Prime Minister Theresa May to Amman on 3 April to the reportedly planned operations, noting that Jordanian King Abdullah II travelled immediately to Washington after meeting with May.

According to Jordanian political sources, Abdullah’s visit to Washington came following increased security cooperation between the two countries.
Speaking to The Washington Post, King Abdullah reiterated that a planned joint operation could take place against terrorists. “It is a challenge, but we are ready to face it in cooperation with the US and Britain.”

19--US Tanks to Storm Raqqa as Major Offensive Takes Shape

Two days ago, as part of the upcoming battle against Daesh the US sent us tanks and heavy weapons. The armament was delivered to Rojava [Kurdish de facto autonomous region in northern Syria]. It arrived on wagons through the territory of northern Iraq, through the border crossing point Semelka,” the source said. From there, the armaments were brought north of Raqqa.

20--Russia backs China’s call to stop N. Korea nuke tests in exchange for halt in US-S. Korea drills

Russia has supported a Chinese initiative in the UNSC intended to stabilize the situation on the Korean peninsula. It calls on the North to refrain from missile and nuclear testing, while the US and South Korea should halt military drills in the area.
“Members of the [UN] Security Council have unanimously called upon DPRK [Democratic People's Republic of Korea] to stop missile and nuclear tests and to fulfil UNSC resolutions,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Saturday following a United Nations Security Council (UNSC) session held in New York earlier on Friday....

The UNSC session was joined by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov, who urged Washington and Seoul to reconsider their decision to station a THAAD anti-missile system on the Korean Peninsula, warning that it will serve as a “destabilizing factor” in the region.
Gatilov said the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) had been deployed “in line with the vicious logic of creating a global missile shield,” while warning that it is also undermining the security and deterrent capacities of adjacent states, such as China, thus threatening “the existing military balance in the region.”

Meanwhile, speaking before the UN Security council, US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson threatened to suspend diplomatic relations with North Korea and impose additional sanctions on third parties dealing with it unless Pyongyang abandons its nuclear weapons program, adding that “all options for responding to future provocations must remain on the table,” including military action.

“Diplomatic and financial levers of power will be backed up by a willingness to counteract North Korean aggression with military action if necessary,” he said at UNSC

21--US economic growth slumps to slowest pace in three years

Just two days before the release of the Commerce Department report, Trump’s two top economic advisers, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and Gary Cohn, the director of the White House National Economic Council, released an outline of the administration's plans for a multi-trillion-dollar tax cut for corporations and the rich.
The two multi-millionaire former Goldman Sachs bankers insisted that the plan would not add to the national debt and require major social cuts because it would boost the growth rate to a sustainable 3 percent from the current average of around 2 percent, adding sufficient tax revenues to offset the impact of lower tax rates.

This lie is part of the attempt to present the wholesale redistribution of wealth from the bottom to the top as a boon to workers, driven by the desire to create “American jobs.” The dismal GDP figure for the first quarter of the year has underscored the fraudulent character of these claims.
This will not in any way deter the government from implementing the demands of the financial oligarchy. On the contrary, the poor first quarter report will be cited as proof of the necessity for a tax boondoggle for the rich. As Republican Kevin Brady, chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, put it, “This report underscores the urgent need for pro-growth tax reform.”

---France Circles Back to Status Quo  (from the comments section)

Macron is a mere empty suit, a lackey of the yankee controlled neoliberal establishment. Unless a miracle occurs, France will reject Le Pen based on her father’s fascist baggage and the power of the yankee controlled international deep state propaganda superstructure. She appears to best represent the real interests of the French people, and the accusation she is extreme right is a canard; her positions on issues other than immigration are well to the left, and, in light of the ongoing threat of alien immigration to an area with a long cultural and ethnic tradition, her immigration views are reasonable.

She is not against Islam, just against the Islamification of France. She wants French “culture”, which has been fought for for hundreds of years, to remain strong and intact. As someone else said, she is not far right, just “right” on immigration. How anyone can say she is wrong about wanting to protect a wonderful culture is beyond me.Doing anything other than what Le Pen is advocating is complete insanity, IMO.

Le Pen is her own person, Trump is not.
Le pen is neither a bigot, nor a buffoon.
Marine will stick to her word, and lead France out of the EU.
The French nation must rally behind her … and I think they will

Also although the world isn’t getting any larger, I do feel nations need some nationalism to combat the banker globalist who now run the show.
One of the issues Marie LePen is making a case for is Dual Citizenship serving in public office. I wish before 911 we here in the States had dumped all of the Dual Citizenshippers

Macron, groomed by the Rothschild’s.
Macron came out of university with a degree in philosophy and civil service. He worked for government for four years, then all of a sudden buys out his government contract (which cost him $50,000 Euros to get out of) in order to work for the Rothschild’s bank (with absolutely no business experience). He makes millions working there, but miraculously, after four years at the bank, decides to go back to his $70,000.00/year government job. He becomes an adviser to Hollande.
He quits Hollande’s party and becomes an independent. He announces his candidacy in August of 2016. In November of 2016 he comes out with a book (sound familiar?). He hires three French volunteers to the Obama campaign, who then somehow are able to mount an army of volunteers who go door-to-door for him. His campaign is highly organized. Gee, I wonder if Soros has a hand in this too!
The people are France are being sucked in again. Macron believes in open borders, open immigration (good for business, he says), the European Union, globalization, more of the same.
Now, why did the Rothschild’s set him up in banking, earning millions, when he had absolutely no experience? Were they grooming him?

So Macron turned to three young Frenchmen who got their start in politics as volunteers for Obama’s 2008 campaign, and who now run a political consulting and technology firm in Paris. Guillaume Liegey, Arthur Muller, and Vincent Pons met in Boston—Liegey and Muller studied at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, while Pons was a graduate student at MIT—and, after Obama’s victory, decided to explore which Obama-style tactics they’d be able to bring to France.”
https://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2017/04/france-election-macron-obama/523872/

“Macron left the Commission, which was shelved September 2010, to work for Rothschilds & Cie Banque where he became an overnight millionaire while working the Nestle acquisition of Pfizer’s nutritional outlet, which closed in 2012. Nestle is a client of Rothschilds. Macron had no experience in acquisitions and mergers whatsoever…
What does one do when one makes millions overnight? Apparently one quits.
He then left Rothschilds to work for Hollande as deputy secretary general of Elysee, and eventually Minister of Economy, Industry and Digital Data in 2014 where he served 18 months before running for Presidency. I’d call that a pretty fast paced runup with little to no political experience or business savvy.
Sounding phishy? Because it is.
All of these positions seem a bit odd for a very junior man with no experience in any of these respective employment quarters. And so, it would appear that Rothschilds saw in Macron what they saw in Obama before he too suddenly became a ‘millionaire’.
Leaving a company, Rothschilds, where he was making millions, to suddenly becoming a deputy government official making less than $70,000 per year and rising to a Ministerial position in less than 2 years, is more than a bit odd.
Ministers in France are typically appointed after a tedious reign of past accomplishments and decades of public service. Macron was appointed at the ripe age of 36 with barely a smidge of experience. But it gets a bit more murky:”
https://helenaglass.net/2017/02/03/frances-emmanuel-macron-groomed-by-rothschilds/

Macron reminds me a lot of Peña Nieto in México. A media-manufactured candidate who looks very tidy and clean on the outside, and is totally empty inside, ready to be filled with watever instructions and orders he gets from his masters. Unfortunately the Front National cannot escape from its built in reactionary core values. Compared with Donald the Clown, Marine Le Pen is a major stateswoman,
